Stars have Brad over the moon

BRAD Arnold's holiday snaps would not look out of place in the celebrity news pages of a glossy magazine.

Some people go sight-seeing during their travels, but Brad, 39, prefers star spotting.

He returned from a recent trip to the United States with photographs of more than 40 celebrities, including actor Tom Cruise, and estimates he has met about 200 stars over the years.

The star spotting began during a trip in 1999, when the keen boxing fan planned an overseas holiday around an Oscar De La Hoya-Felix Trinidad fight.

Wesley Snipes, Chris Rock, Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson and Joe Frazier were among those in the crowd, but Brad was too shy to approach them.

"I think I took a photo of the back of Michael Keaton's head," he said.

He was not so shy when he spotted Paris Hilton in the crowd at a fight in Las Vegas 10 years later.

"I thought, 'When am I going to see her again?' So I went and asked if I could get a photo. And Eva Longoria was there," he said.

Brad has upped the ante since then and now works his travels around not only boxing matches but also movie premieres.

Brad said most stars were happy to pose for a photo, and usually only declined if they did not have time.

His "top three" targets are Mike Tyson, who he has met twice, and singer Mariah Carey and actress Marissa Tomei, who he has not yet met.

Brad keeps his celebrity photos in an album and said they were a great talking point.
