Seize the chance to apply for a share of $50,000

CANCER Council is encouraging young Ipswich people impacted by cancer to seize the day and apply for a share of $50,000 to kick-start their careers.

Applications for Cancer Council Queensland's Seize the Day Study Awards are open to young Queenslanders aged 16-21 who have been impacted by cancer personally, or have family members affected by the disease.

The study awards, ranging from $300 to $2500, assist with the cost of textbooks, stationery, transport and accommodation fees incurred during post-secondary education and training.

Applications close at 5pm on July 31.

Visit cancerqld.org.au or phone 13 11 20 for more details.
