See cars in action in Mulgowie bushland

THE 2014 Australian Off Road Championship fifth and final round will wrap up this month in the Lockyer Valley.

The action-packed weekend will start on Friday, October 17, with scrutineering taking place that evening at the Laidley Showgrounds.

Lockyer Valley Mayor Steve Jones said it was great to see the event return to Mulgowie this year.

"It's a thrill-seeker's delight to see the cars in action jumping over dips, sliding around corners and popping in and out of bushland throughout Mulgowie," he said.

"They have tweaked the course from last year, which means it will be easier for cars to pass.

"The race takes place over several properties near the Mulgowie Hotel and there are designated areas for spectators with plenty of food and drink available to purchase."

The event will be held on October 17-19. For more information visit tjm.com.au/events.
