Second jail sentence for woman

A WOMAN jailed last month for perverting the course of justice has received a further sentence for drug utensils and stealing.

Helena Rose Shoobridge, 36, pleaded guilty to stealing, possessing drug utensils and contravening a police direction.

The court heard Shoobridge stole DVDs worth $32.75 and had stolen razors worth $25.99 hidden in her bra.

When police spoke to her about the razors, she had a cut-up coke can with scorch marks on it in a cooler bag and admitted it had been used to heat heroin.

She was sentenced yesterday to two months' jail, concurrent with her existing prison sentence.
