Seamstresses and volunteers for March of the Dungarees

ORGANISERS of the 2015 Call to Arms re-enactment at Laidley on November 29 are calling for volunteers.

The event will re-enact Laidley's contribution to the 1915 March of the Dungarees.

Laidley Historical Society event chairman John Barwell said 20-30 people were needed to dress in basic uniforms of the era and act as a civilian-turned recruit.

Seamstresses are also needed to sew the costumes.
