NEW music and arts festival Death Valley Fun Camp saw people from all over south-east Queensland converge at Lake Moogerah over the weekend.

Organiser John Patterson said the weekend getaway was designed to recreate the romantic notion of a school camp for adults to enjoy.

Campers experienced restaurant quality food, outdoor activities. live music and workshops including flag making and pickling.

Mr Patterson said profits from food and beverage sales went to Kids Helpline.

Lake Moogerah also welcomed campers from other groups to its beautiful site for a weekend of outdoor fun.
