Roses are heaven-scent

ONE-YEAR-OLD Peta van Wyk, from Purga, took a special liking to the perfume from a rose on display at the Ipswich Horticultural Society's Autumn Show at Brassall Shopping Centre yesterday.

Hundreds of plant lovers visited the display of colourful blooms, including dahlias, gerberas and orchids.

The show continues today from 8.30am to 2pm with a fundraising stall that will benefit Ipswich Hospice.
