WARWICK Rodeo and Campdraft is just days away and our local, national and international Rodeo Queens have been kept busy in the lead up.

Miss Warwick Rodeo Queen Georgie Stower and Miss Rodeo Australia have been travelling around the country with Miss Rodeo America Lauren Heaton and Miss Rodeo Canada Katy Lucas.

Yesterday the girls flew into the award-winning Wellcamp airport from Sydney where they were greeted by Toowoomba media and the Toowoomba Mayor Paul Antonio.

2010 Warwick Rodeo Queen Kate Christensen joined the girls for a sponsor tour throughout the region yesterday.

"They are really enjoying the Australian hospitality and today is all about introducing the girls to the Darling Downs," she said.

"They just spent two and a half days in Sydney learning about iconic Australia and visited Taronga Zoo, Bondi Beach and Circular Quay and stayed at the Star City."

It's the first time visiting Australia for Miss Rodeo America and Miss Rodeo Canada.

The Rodeo Queens will be in the hills of Killarney today to attend a cattle muster, which will be the first for the two international Queens.

The girls will visit the Gold Coast next week to promote the Warwick Rodeo and Campdraft.

They will stay in the region until October 26, when they will fly from Wellcamp airport to Sydney and then they're off to New Zealand before they fly home.
