Rock on with live music and fine food

MUSIC group Forged out of Dust will perform for the upcoming International Cafe event in Ipswich on Saturday.

Visitors are encouraged to come dressed in their best rock get-up for the night of fine Cajun-influenced food and live music.

The entertainment starts at 6.45pm in the Masonic Hall at the corner of Roderick and Nicholas Sts.

The Ipswich Multicultural Projects event will be preceded by the Markets in the Mall from 8am-noon.

The markets feature a wide range of goodies, including food, tea and coffee, crafts, massage, soaps and candles.

There will also be an African drum making and playing workshop by Nigerian Aussie Tunde Solanke.

Entry to the markets is free. Tickets for the International Cafe are available from the Urban Pantry Cafe, 181 Brisbane St, Ipswich.
