Riverlink to host flood fundraiser

FAMILIES can enjoy the Yogi Bear Show, rides, face painting, show bags and prizes at Riverlink this weekend as the shopping centre raises money for the Ipswich Flood Appeal.

Following the devastating floods, Riverlink will be hosting a Community Fundraiser weekend with the aim of giving the Ipswich community some fun and raising some much-needed funds to rebuild Ipswich.

The weekend's entertainment will feature two Yogi Bear shows daily, carnival rides, face painting, fairy floss and show bags with all activities available for a gold-coin donation.

Retailers have also dug deep with more than $2000 worth of prizes to be won including a Pandora bracelet, gym memberships, luggage sets and assorted gift vouchers.

Goodlife Gym will be holding extra classes during the weekend, which will be available to members and non-members, for a gold-coin donation.

IMO Carwash will also be donating all proceeds from the weekend to the cause.

All activities begin at 10am with the Yogi Bear show at 11am and 1pm each day.

A full list of activities can be found by visiting the website www.riverlink.net.au.
