YOUR SAY: Residents salute Councillor Sheila Ireland

AS RESIDENTS of Redbank Plains for more than 30 years, we would like to salute Cr Shelia Ireland for her never-ending commitment to her electorate.

Since Cr Ireland was elected in 2004, she has actively engaged with her constituents and is a role model that other councillors should follow.

We were very disappointed to read the unprofessional comments recently made by other Ipswich councillors who could learn a lot from Cr Ireland's approach to her responsibilities.

Thank you Cr Ireland and team - keep up the great work.

MIKE TI, Redbank Plains
