LETTERS: Rail open day a massive hit

THANKS to all involved in putting on the Community Open Day at the new Wulkuraka (New Generation Rollingstock) Maintenance Centre on Saturday.

It was an excellent day and the response from the community was amazing.

I don't think the recently upgraded Wulkuraka railway station will experience such crowds for a while, but the extra train services were certainly put to work.

Thank you to the Minister for Transport Stirling Hinchliffe and the DG TMR Neil Scales and their staff, for making this a day that we will all remember.

Congratulations to all involved with the construction of the facility and the station upgrade.

ROBERT DOW, RAIL Back On Track, Goodna
