LOOKS impressive huh? It's even better in the metal.
The first Lamborghini Huracan has arrived in Queensland and the raging bull's latest release is nothing short of outstanding.
Lamborghini Brisbane had the $455,000 Huracan in its showroom this week before the new owner took delivery.
Another 13 Huracans will be delivered between now and March next year - with the Queensland dealer's allocation all pre-sold.
Lamborghini Brisbane managing director, Martin Roller, said the initial allocation of vehicles were sold following a private preview in February this year. Buyers are now on an eight-month waiting list.
"Whilst the Gallardo has been to-date Automobili Lamborghini's most successful production model, early indications of the Huracán's are that it will give the Gallardo a run for its money," he said.
"Its performance output and sleek design, plus its drive away price tag of $455,000, package this car, certainly in the Australian market, as incomparable to the other supercar brand's equivalents.
"Our entire allocation of production was pre-sold seven months before the arrival of the first cars which have just now arrived at the dealership. In addition to the delivery of the 14 cars in the next six months, we will also have one stock car of our own for display in our showroom."
The Huracan LP 610-4, successor to the Gallardo, has written the next chapter in Automobili Lamborghini's iconic history with its impressive performance stats and design.
With a power output of 448kW (610 HP) at 8250rp and maximum torque of 560Nn at 6500rpm, the naturally aspirated V10 engine drinks an average 12.5 litres/100km and can rip to 100kmh in 3.2 seconds.
The new Bull features fast shifting seven-speed dual clutch transmission, lightweight hybrid chassis of carbon fibre and aluminium, and a power to weight ratio of just 2.33kg per HP.
With the Huracán, Lamborghini has adopted a bolder, edgier design and incorporated the hexagonal design form which is quickly becoming a Lamborghini signature, across the impressive silhouette. The Huracán is unmistakable with all lights beaming in LED - a first in the super sports car segment.
