Radio station reunites local hero with crash victim

A Brisbane radio station has reunited an Ipswich local with a man who risked life and limb to provide support during a serious car crash late last year.

Hit105's Stav, Abby and Matt managed to track down tradesman TJ after Ipswich local Nick and his girlfriend were in an accident that saw their car flip three times before coming to rest on its side last December near the Riverlink shopping centre.

The young tradie stayed with the couple and provided help for more than an hour while the vehicle dripped hot hydraulic oil onto his clothing. TJ also provided reassurance to Nick and supported his girlfriend's head while she was trapped in her seat.

The station filmed the reunion, check out the video here.
