Premier Palaszczuk heading to Singapore with Tony Abbott

FRESH from a trade mission to the United States, Annastacia Palaszczuk is packing her bags again, this time as a guest of Tony Abbott.

The Prime Minister will lead a trade delegation to Singapore early next week to push his northern Australia plan.

Western Australia Premier Colin Barnett and the Northern Territory Chief Minister Adam Giles are also joining the trip to represent their respective regions of the northern Australia initiative, and Ms Palaszczuk said she would not be missing out.

"I want to commend Tony Abbott here, because I believe that he is actually setting the right tone, that we do need to have more investment in northern Australia," she said.

"That is why he is leading a delegation on the Sunday and Monday to Singapore to attract investment to northern Australia."
