Positive test lands driver in court

A PEAK Crossing man has lost his licence after admitting to driving while cannabis was still in his system.

Campbell William Henderson, 20, appeared at Ipswich Magistrates Court last week.

The court heard that the drug cannabis was detected following a roadside test at Peak Crossing on February 14.

Prosecutor Sergeant Brad Dick said Henderson admitted to police at the time that he'd recently smoked pot.

After pleading guilty on Tuesday, Henderson told Magistrate Roger Stark that he "didn't really smoke pot anymore".

He was fined $350 and disqualified from holding a licence for three months.
