Man knocked out in alleged pub assault

POLICE are appealing for the public's help following the assault of a man at Springfield.

The man, 33, was punched in the face by another man at a Springfield hotel about 12.05am on January 25.

Police said the victim was knocked unconscious by the blow and did not know his attacker.

Police have released the above image of a man and woman (pictured above) who they believe may be able to assist police in their investigations.
