Fears held for missing Ripley man

POLICE are calling for assistance from the public to help locate a man missing from Ripley in Ipswich since September 30.

Lonnie Campbell, who is 49-years-old, was last seen leaving Michels St at Ripley that day about 9pm.

He was driving a white Toyota Camry sedan with Queensland registration 326 TBH.

Police hold concerns for Mr Campbell's welfare because he suffers from a medical condition.

He is described as being about 183cm tall with brown/grey receding hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a T-shirt and shorts.

A spokesman said police tried to track Mr Campbell down yesterday using triangulation but his mobile phone was switched off.

"We're hoping someone has seen him around or has seen his car," the spokesman said.
