Alcohol-fuelled violence not the cause of Kurtis' death
POLICE have ruled out alcohol-fuelled violence as the cause of death for 18-year-old Kurtis West, whose body was found near a railway track in Jambin on Saturday morning.
Mystery still surrounds the Wandal teenager's death, which is being treated as suspicious.
A post-mortem has been conducted on the body.
Earlier today Kurtis' parents spoke emotionally about their son at a police media conference.
They asked for information from the public.

Kurtis was found on the Jambin-Dakenba Rd about 3.40am after leaving the Jambin Pub at 11pm.
Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Moon said they should have some answers within days, but said these will be reported to the coroner.
"Kurtis had some injuries, how he obtained those injuries are the subject of our investigation," he said.
More than 30 people have been interviewed so far, with further leads being investigated.
