Police on the hunt for two men over the assault of a woman

POLICE have released comfit images of two men they believe assaulted a woman at Laidley.

The woman confronted the two trail bike riders at Challenge Avenue, Kensington Grove on December 4 last year, complaining about trespassing and cut-fences on a nearby property.

There was allegedly an argument between the woman and the riders, which police said erupted into a physical altercation in which the woman had to take refuge in her vehicle after being chased by the men, who had armed themselves with rocks.

Police also allege the men kicked the woman's car, damaging it.

The pair was last seen walking their bikes west along Challenge Avenue.

The woman sustained bruising and sprains as a result of the assault.

The men were described as Caucasian, aged 15 to 20 years.
