Police on lookout for stolen vehicles

IPSWICH police are urging residents to keep their eyes peeled for vehicles which have been recently stolen within the area.

The missing vehicles include a Nissan Patrol, a Honda CBR600 motorcycle, a Toyota Hilux and two Ford Falcons which were stolen the past week.

The Nissan is a blue wagon and with the registration 557AXT.

The Honda has a registration 382JR.

The Hilux is a red ute with the registration 907TKT.

One of the Fords is a white ute with registration 020LJS while the other is a green sedan with registration 776TVJ.

Police reported a number of vehicles were being stolen while the victims were at home and that the thefts were a reminder for residents to secure their homes and vehicles to avoid opportunistic thefts.

Police said hiding car keys and valuables made it difficult for thieves to steal your vehicle and other property.

Anyone with information can phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
