Arrest made after death at Booval

DETECTIVES investigating a suspicious death in Booval yesterday have charged a 45-year-old man with murder.

About 9am emergency services were called to a unit in Bergin Street to treat a man with an alleged stomach wound.

A 29-year-old man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with life-threating-injuries where he later died.

A 45-year-old Moores Park man has since been charged with murder.

He is scheduled to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on Monday, January 7.
