Police hunt knife-wielding man who robbed convenience store

POLICE are hunting a knife-wielding man who robbed a Redbank Plains convenience store last night.

The robber entered the shop on Kruger Pde about 6.40pm Tuesday, demanding money from an employee.

The employee handed the man a bag containing an undisclosed sum of cash.

Disguised in black sunglasses, a black beanie, a long sleeved black shirt and black pants, the offender was last seen jumping into a green sedan on nearby Henty Drive.

He was described as 183cm tall, Pacific Islander in appearance, with a solid build.
