POLICE were called in to resolve an incident involving Independent candidate Patricia Petersen at the polling booth at Ipswich City Mall yesterday.

No arrests were made after police attended a reported disturbance.

Ms Petersen said police officers escorted her away from the booth and centre management would not allow her to return for three hours. She said there was no altercation.

"For that period of time I was very disadvantaged. If it comes down to the wire ... there are very solid grounds for me querying the result," Ms Petersen said.
