Police arrest man after break and enter at Bundamba store

A 33-year-old male has been charged after he was caught breaking into a hardware store in Bundamba overnight.

Police will allege the male cut through a perimeter fence and forced his way into the store on Hoepner Rd by smashing a glass door.

His presence in the store activated an alarm system. After cordoning off the building, a police dog located the male hiding inside the store.

The male was arrested and transported to the Ipswich Watchhouse where he was charged in relation to the break and enter offence.
