YOUR SAY: PM should concentrate on big ticket items

WE MUST keep at least one car industry alive in this country or amalgamate what is left of the car industry.

Otherwise, two years on all our cars will be imported - a million cars coming every year into the country, adding to a huge import cost.

The prime minister should concentrate on the big ticket items - businesses linked to the world and getting this country generating exports.

He should leave the domestic problems to his most competent senior ministers.

Leave out functions and going around meeting people. Concentrate fully on moving this country ahead.

The only people Mr Turnbull should be meeting with are the industrialists and work out with them incentives to get this country into top gear.

Save billions of dollars by only building the most necessary highways.

Resort to patching up what we have.
