Pie guys face fraud accusations
A BUSINESSMAN whose family established Big Dad's Pies has faced court.
Stephen John Donnelly, 54, was arrested on December 31, 2015 and charged with eight offences, including seven counts of fraud, over allegations he opened up bank accounts in other people's names to funnel stolen money.
He allegedly embezzled more than $160,000.
Another man, co-accused Daniel James McDonald, 44, was also charged with fraud over his alleged dealings with Mr Donnelly and a third party.
Both men had their matters adjourned until June 22.
