Perfect night for all that jazz

CONSUMING smooth wine and listening to smoother melodies complemented a perfect evening at the annual QAL Jazz 'n' Shiraz showcase at the Gladstone Harbour Festival.

A clear Gladstone night saw crowds flock to the annual event, with special performances by Jim Morrison, Rhonda Burchmore and Liam Burrows.

To wrap up the 2012 festivities, jazz icon Jim Morrison put on an outstanding performance with his Mowtown band.

Australian entertainer of the year Rhonda Burchmore also made an appearance.

Australia's Got Talent finalist and the country's answer to Michael Buble, Liam Burrows sang a few tunes on the night.

Gladstone based jazz band JAG also took to the stage, wowing crowds with a captivating performance.

Offstage the roaming stilt walking musicians the Hi Life Horns entertained the masses.

Last year fans witnessed a dazzling performance by Kate Cebrano.

Former Australian Idol contestant Carl Risley also made an appearance last year.
