Paramedics called to man unresponsive after heat exposure

A MAN in his 20s has been taken to hospital following extreme heat exposure this afternoon.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokespersons said paramedics were called a Springfield Lakes address following reports of heat exposure just before 1pm.

Initial reports indicated the man was un-responsive.

The spokesperson said heat could have worsened an underlying medical condition.

The man was taken to Ipswich Hospital in a stable condition.
