A PARAMEDIC rolled his ambulance while en route to a traffic accident.

The male officer had been responding to a single vehicle crash on Tuesday evening, when he rolled his vehicle on a dirt road in Rosevale.

Fire crews were called to the scene to help extricate the 40-year-old, who had become trapped in his ambulance.

He was the sole officer in the ambulance and sustained minor injuries.

He was taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment.
