Police find man who fell asleep in the wrong house

ROCKHAMPTON Police were called to a Frenchville house yesterday morning after a man, 40, unlawfully entered a home and went to sleep on a mattress.

The owners of the Kerrigan St house called the police about 5.30am yesterday to tell them a man not known to them was in their house.

According to a police media spokesman, the man woke up a short time later and stumbled out of the house.

Police found him nearby walking along a Frenchville road.
