Origin star, restaurateur get cocaine case adjourned

THE case against a former State of Origin player and a former Toowoomba restaurant owner accused of trafficking and possessing cocaine has been adjourned.

Jason Smith and Jason Wood's defence applied for an adjournment in Toowoomba Magistrates Court today awaiting full brief of evidence.

Magistrate Damian Carroll granted the adjournment until August 5.

Smith and Wood did not appear in court.
