Origin II - By the Clock:
1st minute: The stage is set with an explosive first hit-up from NSW prop Tim Grant which sees opposite Petero Civoniceva fall flat on his backside.
3th minute: A Cooper Cronk kick into the Blues' in-goal is lost by fullback Brett Stewart. The ball lays on the ground for a number of seconds before Maroons back-rower David Taylor loses it over the line.
26th minute: Stewart scores for the Blues after a well-executed backline play which started from Greg Bird turning the ball back on the inside. Carney misses conversion from out wide. Blues 4, Maroons 0.
35th minute: Maroons fullback Billy Slater taken over the sideline and Blues get a scrum 10m out but cannot score.
40th minute: NSW winger Akuila Uate lets a threatening Cronk bomb bounce before Ashley Harrison passes to a flying Ben Hannant to score a converted try on the last play before halftime. Maroons 6, Blues 4.
43rd minute: Todd Carney held off the ball by Cronk over the try line. Cronk sin-binned. Blues get a penalty and Carney converts. Blues 6, Maroons 6.
45th minute: Carney brushes past Maroons lock Ashley Harrison 20m out and finds Stewart in support for the fullback to streak away and score. Carney converts for 12-6 lead to the Blues.
49th minute: NSW winger Jarryd Hayne loses ball but gets a kick onto it before it hits the ground. Fellow winger Brett Morris picks it up to run away and score in the corner. Carney misses conversion for a 16-6 lead to NSW.
60th minute: Maroons centre Greg Inglis scores in the corner off a Johnathan Thurston cross-field kick. Thurston's conversion is a beauty for NSW to lead 16-12.
70th minute: After sustained Queensland pressure, Maroons winger Brent Tate loses the ball over the line from a kick thanks to great pressure from Blues centre Michael Jennings.
75th minute: Maroons forward David Taylor loses the ball 10m out with his side threatening in attack.
79th minute: Uate plays at a Queensland kick with his hands before running and away to score. But it was called back because of a knock-on.
80th minute: Queensland on the attack for one last time and 30m out but Inglis loses the ball and the Blues hang on to win a cliff-hanger
