Organised storage on wheels: Isuzu NLR Service Pack
ISUZU has revealed a new light truck at its new F Series model launch which is sure to turn tradies' heads as no truck licence is needed to operate it.
The NLR 45-150 AMT SWB with tradie-specific Service Pack can be driven with a standard car licence, is shorter than a Toyota HiLux ute and has an impressive 1.5-tonne payload.
It's powered by a 110kW/375Nm 3.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine with six-speed automated manual transmission with both fully automatic and clutchless manual operation modes.
There are eight lockers on the Service Pack, all with LED lighting, and they can be locked or unlocked from the cab.
Included is an ADR-compliant towbar with integrated step, plus reinforced tie-down lugs in the central body space. Optional ladder racks can also be added.
Isuzu has added cornering lamps to its trucks with the launch of its new F Series, and the Service Pack scores this update.
The truck will also come with heated and powered exterior mirrors with adjustable convex spot mirrors, reverse alarm, driver and passenger airbag, IESC stability control system, ABS, non-slip entry steps and anti-skid regulator.
On the infotainment front, Isuzu's Digital Audio Visual Entertainment unit with 6.2-inch LED touchscreen is included.
This system has fully integrated Bluetooth with voice recognition and 4GB of internal storage for music files as well as a USB/SD card and auxiliary jack.
At the time of writing, the full specification and prices haven't been revealed by Isuzu for the 45-150 AMT SWB's Australian launch.
