One missing after fire, explosion

ONE man is missing and another is injured after an explosion and a fire that destroyed a million-dollar property in Melbourne's south-east this morning.

Police and paramedics were called to the house in Casey Drive in Berwick just before 4am after the property was rocked by a large explosion in the garage.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said a fire then broke out and spread to the house, estimated to be worth more than $1 million.
