One critical after jet ski crash

ONE person has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition after a jet ski crash on the Gold Coast.

Two jet skis collided on the Nerang River at Surfers Paradise just before 2pm.

The Queensland Ambulance Service says one patient has been transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.

QAS said another patient had been taken to hospital with "minor upper-body injuries".

Police and emergency services are on the scene.
