Officer faces CCC for turning off bodycam before hitting teen

THE corruption watchdog has been asked to investigate a police senior sergeant for striking an intoxicated teenager in the face after a fellow officer deactivated his body-camera.

A senior constable was calmly questioning the 19-year-old about a brawl at a Brisbane railway station when the sergeant appeared and confronted the teen.

"What are you looking at me for? What's your problem?" the sergeant is recorded asking in police footage obtained by The Courier-Mail.

The teen replies: "Why are you looking at me?"
