Now Hinch finds himself outed

SENATOR Derryn Hinch has accused his ex-partner Natasha Chadwick, 36, of seeking to "blacken my name”, playing down his use of alcohol after admitting to drinking watered down wine on special occasions less than five years after a life-saving liver transplant.

The 72-year-old had sworn off alcohol after liver cancer.

He said he occasionally drank "real wine with the permission of my transplant surgeon”.

"I have so much to achieve in the Senate, I won't be making that mistake. I'm sorry that a break-up has led to this, but, that's life,” he said.
