Not a happy day as council closes access

Tomorrow is our 49th wedding anniversary. This would normally be a time for celebration - not likely!

After two and a half years of lies, threats, bullying and now, broken promises, our "champion of the people", Paul Pisasale and his council cronies have finally closed down the legal front entry to our property.

I believe this was done to feed the ego of an engineer who appears to have ignored the recommendations of a $300,000 Flood Report for reasons known only to him.

It appears to me that the Government grant of many millions of taxpayers' dollars is being wasted.

Next time, the grants may not be so readily available.

I hope they sleep well at night.
