No gun – just a 'crack pipe'

A MAN who told police he had a "crack pipe" in his car when they were looking for a gun, has been fined $400.

Joshua Terrence Luzke, 29, yesterday pleaded guilty in the Ipswich Magistrates Court to possessing drug utensils.

The court heard police received a call saying he had a gun and was suicidal. When police found him he said there was a "crack pipe" in the car but denied having a weapon or thinking about suicide.

The court heard he no longer used drugs after getting a lucrative mining job, with regular drug tests.
