NOW OPEN: New Zarraffa's for city's coffee lovers

ZARRAFFA'S coffee shop at West Ipswich is open for business, but the finishing touches are still being put on the adjoining service station and fast food outlet.

The site on Brisbane St was bustling with activity from early this morning, with workmen cleaning up around what will be a new Hungry Jacks restaurant and Puma service station.

The drawn-out construction process was about two months overdue, with initial forecasts predicting a pre-Christmas opening.

Local roadworks were blamed for the delay.
