New car win proves the perfect timing for Victoria

BOOVAL's Victoria Nugent is the thrilled owner of a new Mazda2.

For the past six weeks readers who bought the QT or shopped at Redbank Plaza were in the running to win a Mazda2 courtesy of Ian Boettcher Motors.

There were more than 10,000 entries and Ms Nugent was the lucky winner.

"I am amazed. I am a still in shock," she said.

"My car died two months ago, so I have been walking everywhere.

"I never thought that I'd be able to afford a new car. The mayor called and left a message saying I'd won. I missed the call and rang back. I'm going to keep the message forever."
