New call for info on 90s murder

HOMICIDE detectives have renewed their calls for public information surrounding the murder of a young NSW woman more than 20 years ago.

On the morning of July 8, 1991, Penny Hill, 21, was found unconscious and bleeding next to a gate near Coolah, in the state's west.

She was taken to a Newcastle hospital where she later died.

A $100,000 reward is on offer for information leading to a murder conviction.

Police are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who stayed at the Black Stump Motel in Coolah during 1990-91.

An inquest into Ms Hill's death is expected to resume in the NSW Coroner's Court mid July.
