FEDERAL Member for Dawson, George Christensen, spoke in parliament about some of the material that the Safe Schools program is delivering to school students, including pornographic web content, sex shops, adult online communities and sex clubs.

"I rise as a voice for thousands of parents have been shocked when they discover how the ironically named Safe Schools program is indoctrinating their children," he said in Parliament.

"When those parents consider just how unsafe this program is they wonder why the Federal Government is allowing it to be implemented in schools much less spending $8 million of tax payer money to fund it.

"Some of the things that the Safe School Coalition Australia are recommending to school students include pornographic we content, sex shops, adult online communities and sex clubs.

He said the teaching resource directs students to the LGBT organisation 2010.

"On the 19th of January 2010 hosted a hands on workshop for youth on sex toys and Sadomasochistic practices.

"It also directs student to the website of the LGBT youth organisation minus 18 which produced most of the safe schools resources.

"Minus 18 advises students on chest binding, penis tucking, sex toys and sex advice such as penis and vagina sex is not the only sex and certainly not the ultimately sex."

Meanwhile Deputy Leader of the Australian Greens Adam Bandt posted on his Facebook page a video asking Australians to stand up for the Safe Schools program.

He said MPs including George Christensen "should be ashamed at themselves".

"What kind of message is this Prime Minister sending when he chooses to single out a prgram that has widespread community support and that has been doing its job," Mr Bandt said in the video.
