Motorist apprehended following park crash

POLICE were able to apprehend the driver of a vehicle that crashed into a tree at Queens Park early today.

The authorities had already been searching for the driver, alleging that the registration had been cancelled.

A member of the public called police about 6.10am to report the suspect vehicle crashed into a tree.

Police said they took the driver into custody a short time later.
