Motorcyclist passes police at 180km/h

A BRAZEN motorcyclist executed a wheelie while reaching speeds of 180km/h passed a marked police car in Ipswich this afternoon.

Police are searching for a motorcyclist who was travelling at high speeds on the Warrego Highway at Chuwar when he leaned the bike onto one wheel while passing the police car.

Police attempted to catch up with the hoon, but the biker failed to stop and police were unable to reach him.

He was described as wearing white board shorts and a black t-shirt riding a silver motorbike.

The motorcyclist was Brisbane bound at 1.30pm.
