Motorcyclist injured in motorway crash

A MOTORCYCLE rider has sustained injuries in a crash on the Ipswich Motorway this morning.

Police say the bike collided with another vehicle near the Redbank turn-off on the Motorway about 8.40am.

The rider was knocked off the bike, and was lucky to escape with only soft tissue injuries including cuts and grazes.

Paramedics attended the scene and treated the rider, however the rider does not require transport to hospital.

The crash is affecting the Ipswich-bound lanes. Police say there are no major delays in the area.
