Motorcyclist breaks leg in accident

A MOTORCYCLIST is being rushed to hospital with a broken leg following a crash at Bundamba.

Police said the rider claimed his accelerator became stuck as he rode on Hawkins Crescent, about 1.15pm.

Paramedics were first on the scene, treating the 40-year-old man for a broken hip and femur before rushing him to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are underway.
