More chilly Ipswich mornings to come

THE mercury dipped just below the one-degree mark this morning out at Amberley as Ipswich's first real taste of winter for the year continues.

Light morning frosts are forecast to continue until Saturday. The arrival of a south-easterly change early Sunday should bring a welcome increase in temperatures.

A maximum of 21 is predicted for today, Thursday and Friday, with minimums around the three-four-degree mark.

Sunday's temperature range should be about 8-24.
