Monday reprieve before week heats up in Ipswich
TODAY'S temperatures will be the most bearable all week in the lead up to Christmas.
Today is going to be the mildest day at a maximum of 32 degrees as the Bureau of Meteorology anticipates temperatures will peak at 36 degrees before Christmas Day.
The sun will be baking all week with only the slight chance of a shower on Friday and Saturday when temperatures will reach 33 and 32 degrees respectively.

Temperatures on Tuesday will reach 35 degrees, 36 on Wednesday and 35 on Thursday.
On Christmas Eve, temperatures will reach a maximum of 36 degrees with only a very slight chance of rain.
It's much hotter in Gatton however with maximum temperatures steadily climbing to 38 degrees by Wednesday and dropping only slightly to 37 on Thursday.
